In this article, the Chair of the RDA Board provides an overview of the decision-making behind the creation of Official RDA.

Author Biography

  • Chris Oliver, RDA Board

    Chris Oliver has been involved with RDA since its inception and has served a number of roles on the RDA Steering Committee and RDA Board. She is currently RDA Board Chair. Chris is also an active member of the cataloguing community in Canada and internationally, serving on several IFLA committees.
