Linked data and OCLC Meridian

In early 2025 the Metadata and Discovery Team at the University of Southampton Library embarked on a project in partnership with OCLC, engaging with their Meridian linked data entity management system. This article describes the project from conception to completion and assesses the benefits of linked data both for the library community and for users.
